RevOrder

Comparison

RevOrder vs Klaviyo and Releva: different jobs, not the same tool

Merchants often compare RevOrder with Klaviyo or Releva because all three send emails and SMS. The overlap ends there. Klaviyo and Releva are marketing platforms; RevOrder works on the path an order takes from the checkout to the delivered parcel.

In short

  • Klaviyo and Releva are built for marketing: campaigns, segments, personalisation and recommendations.
  • RevOrder is built for the order itself: the checkout, abandoned cart and order recovery, cash on delivery, couriers, waybills and delivery statuses.
  • RevOrder has no monthly plan. The platform is free and you pay per message sent and per call center call.
  • Many stores run RevOrder next to an email marketing tool; the two do not compete for the same job.

What Klaviyo and Releva are for

Klaviyo is an email and SMS marketing platform: it collects customer profiles, builds segments from behaviour and purchase history, and sends campaigns and automated flows. Its plans are monthly and grow with the number of contacts you keep.

Releva is a personalisation and marketing automation platform: product recommendations on the site, personalised content and campaigns. It is aimed at raising average order value and repeat purchases.

Both are strong at what they are built for — talking to customers who already know the store and bringing them back to buy again.

What RevOrder is for

RevOrder starts where marketing tools usually stop: at the checkout and after the order. In markets such as Bulgaria, Romania and Greece a large share of orders is paid in cash on delivery and picked up from a courier office or locker. That is where orders get lost — a wrong address, a checkout that does not know the office list, a parcel the customer refuses at the door.

  • A checkout layer with office and locker selection, address checks and payment rules by country, order value or cart.
  • Recovery of abandoned carts and checkouts by SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, email and call center calls, with a link back to the exact cart.
  • Cash on delivery under rules, with a fee line and confirmation before dispatch.
  • Waybills from the order screen and shipment statuses back on the order, with Econt, Speedy, Sameday, BoxNow, FAN Courier, Cargus, ACS and other couriers.
  • Attribution all the way to a delivered order, not just to a click or a placed order.

More on each part: abandoned cart recovery and cash on delivery under control.

How each one is paid

Marketing platforms usually charge a monthly plan that rises as the contact list grows, whether or not you send that month. RevOrder has no plan at all. The software, the checkout, the courier integrations and the reports are free; you top up a balance by card and pay only for each SMS, Viber, WhatsApp or email message sent and each call center call. A quiet month costs almost nothing. The prices per country are on the pricing page.

What the numbers look like

Across 25 merchants over 90 days (July–October 2026), 8.6% of abandoned carts that received a recovery SMS turned into an order within 72 hours, and well-configured automations reached 10–14%. Roughly one in three call center calls to a customer with an abandoned order ended in an order. The value of the recovered orders was about 12 times the cost of the messages and calls.

The figures count orders placed within 72 hours of a contact and vary with the niche, the country and how the scenarios are set up. We publish them in aggregate only and do not name the stores.

When to choose which — and when to run both

Choose a marketing platform first if your orders are paid by card, delivered to the door and your main goal is more repeat purchases from an existing list.

Choose RevOrder first if you lose orders at checkout, on addresses or to refused cash-on-delivery parcels, if your customers expect courier offices and lockers, or if you want recovery by SMS and phone rather than email alone.

Run both if you already have a working email programme: RevOrder takes the checkout, recovery and delivery, and the marketing tool keeps the newsletters and loyalty flows. Nothing has to be migrated.
